Parent-to-Parent
Offers emotional support, insight, and understanding for parents when they learn their child has special needs, or their child may be going through a transitional period. The Parent-to-Parent program provides information and referrals to community resources, services, support groups, state support programs, and others as well as events and support groups to bring families together and gain relationships.

Sibling Support
Sibshops is a great place to meet other kids who have siblings with disabilities. Through games, crafts and fun, siblings are given the opportunity to feel as though they are the most important person of the day. They receive undivided attention from staff members who know what it's like to have a sibling with a disability. Parent Family Coalition

The Parent Family Coalition is a membership-driven organization made up of families, siblings, foster parents, grandparents, kinships, individuals, guardians and other interested community members.  The Coalition provides information and education about legislative policies at the local, State and Federal level.  The Coalition disseminates information and teaches families about the social service system, resources in their community, and how their participation in their local community builds integration and inclusion of all people with developmental disabilities.  If you would like to learn more about the Parent Family Coalition, receive information by e-mail, or have questions on how you can be involved, please contact Jenifer Nelson, MSW, Coordinator at 425-258-2459 x106 jenifer@arcsno.org or Kelly Church, Assistant Coordinator at 425-258-2459 x107 kelly@arcsno.org.

Housing, Counceling & Guidence
The Arc offers information, guidance and counceling in the area of independent living for individuals affected by disability who may be feeling frustrated and defeated. The individuals are provided with tools on how to successfully navigate services necessary to ensuring healthy and productive lives. Self Advocacy: L.E.A.D. Coalition

The Coalition provides leadership development, training and mentoring, advocacy education and support for individual self advocates and self advocacy groups. The purpose of L.E.A.D. is to educate individuals about their rights as participating members of their community and how their participation in their local community builds integration and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities.  In addition, the Coalition educates policy makers, local organizations and members of the community at large.
